About Me

My name is Anice. I love to write and it is the only thing I have loved consistently.

I was born in Fogo, Cabo Verde in a small town of about 9,000 people where everybody knew everybody. I was the youngest of three children. There was not much to do to keep busy and entertained, so I got lost in books and wrote about them. My imagination and writing have been a steady companion throughout my life.

I currently live in Massachusetts, USA. I am a marketer by day. I have plenty to do to keep myself busy and entertained. I still find that I have this incredible need to write about my experiences.

I studied public relations and communication studies at The University of Rhode Island. I have a digital marketing certificate from Cornell University and I am currently an MBA candidate at UMass Amherst.
